Hip-Hop: a fast-paced style of dance that incorporates strengthening exercises as well as cardio. Dancers will learn the latest styles and moves while dancing to popular music. Encourages the development of personal style and is a great confidence booster for all levels! Ballet: is the foundation of all styles of dance. Ballet classes at Prana will include various ballet exercises that encourage lean muscle growth and strength building. Ballet is vital for all dancers since all other dance styles are derived from this foundation. Street Tap: This is a fast-paced
style of tap where dancers will learn basic Broadway steps and combinations with
a funky twist. Workshops: Prana Yoga & Dance offers dance classes for ages 4-Adult, beginner-advanced. Aside from our regular monthly schedule, Prana also has several exciting workshops and events held throughout the year. Workshops offered include Broadway Dance, Jazz-Funk, Dancing Divas, African Dance, Modern Dance, and more! Attire: All students are required to be properly dressed for all classes including the proper shoe. Shorts are not permitted unless tights or leggings are worn underneath. Hair should be pulled back.
Jazz: any color leotard & tights,
jazz pants or Capri pants, black or tan jazz shoes. Hip-Hop: looser fitting pants or
Capri pants, form fitting top or any color leotard, jazz sneakers or shoes. Street-Tap: form fitting tank or
t-shirt, dance pants or Capri pants, tap shoes. Modern Dance: Moveable, comfortable clothing, any color leotard, tights or leggings, bare feet.
