Dana Urbanski Dana Urbanski, who has been dancing since age 11, has been trained and educated in jazz, hip-hop, and ballet. She was a member of the Brecksville dance team in 8th grade and continued being a member for all four years of high school. She was also considered to be one of the leading choreographers her junior and senior year and won the choreography award from her fellow dance team members her senior year. Upon attending Baldwin-Wallace College in the fall of 2005, she was also a member of the Baldwin-Wallace dance team her freshman year. Dana currently works as a dance instructor at Prana Yoga and Dance Studio and has also choreographed routines for the Brecksville dance team. She worked as an assistant coach for the past two years with April Kossman for the Highland High School’s dance program in which she also helped choreograph the dances they performed. She spent the summer of 2007 and this past fall teaching youth and adult hip-hop at the Brecksville Community Center as well. At this time, Dana runs the dance program at the Broadview Heights Recreation Center in which she is the instructor for youth ballet and both youth and adult hip-hop classes. She also recently joined the Dynamic Fitness Group located in Strongsville as a hip-hop instructor. At this time, she is finishing up her undergraduate education at Baldwin-Wallace College in which she plans to graduate in three years with a major in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology. Upon graduation in the spring of 2008, Dana will be seeking a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology at Cleveland State University. She is extremely excited and privileged to get the opportunity to be a dance instructor at the Prana Yoga and Dance Studio. |
